It took me a little less than 4 years, but now I got myself 13k+7 pageviews.
I'd like to use this opportunity to say to you people that you should go and see the works of LetsNotShare, or Euroseth, instead of my works. From my personal point of view, their works are better than average, and way better than mine.
Other great works can be seen in my faves, but those in that collection of deviations are just what I consider well-executed art. You should really just judge for yourself.

P.S.
If you really really want to peek in my gallery that badly, I can assure you that I will take your critique seriously, as for the artists in my faves-collection, I can't guarantee that they will take your critique, among them there are some who have a bad temper. But that doesn't make their art less impressive.

1) I consider animal-right-protesters who never been to the farms they protest against, as hypocrite as movie-critiques that whine about movies they've never seen and as naïve as people who vote for a party withouth reading it's program or plans.

4) I have a book that's older than your grandpa, unless your gramps is 94 years old
5) I owe the manliest bookcase of the country, it can be seen in my gallery
6) Half of my drawings never get finished
7) Modern society is withouth ideals, withouth taste, withouth hope alltogether, hurrying from one purchase to the other, destroying itsself like a tribe of hungry cannibals. I wish I could get out of here, but there's nowhere to go.
8) So I just wait for the system to collapse, I hope I'll live to see it, so I can tell my grandkids about the Great Wealth, when you could go to any place of the world just because the sun didn't shine over here, when you had stores with a hundred types of shampoo and magazines telling us how to dress, how to get better sex, what love is and what actors and musicians, who we'll never meet, are important to our lives.

I guess it's time for another update. Perhaps I'll update you guys with every 1.000 I reach.
I looked at my gallery today, it's funny to see how oneself changes over time. For example, I found a piece called Madness that had almost the exact same colourscheme as Insanity. Obviously expressing the same emotion, or rather, mental state. Yet completely different.
Also, you can see how the general theme is slowly shifting. At the end of 2007, beginning of '08 it was all basicly hammocks and fields of green. Around april I can see the theme slowly shifting to more violent things, and after a resting soldier I drew in October, named Deep in Thought, one can see more thougthfull things sneaking unto the paper, such as semi-abstract art, expressionism, abstract backdrops and dreams. From March '09 to now, 65.1162791% of my drawing have contained women.
The funny thing is that, despite serveral desperate tries, my style itsself did not change that much, but my inspirations did. They did a lot.
Also, although I became a bit better compared to two years ago, I didn't progress that much in a year.
I find that a good sign since I liked my art of last year.

with 1020 deviations on my list, and more than 100 messages in my inbox, of wich 12 are actual messages, and no new drawings, nor motivation or plans for new drawings, dA is getting boring for me. Besides, it's turning more into a social network and less into an art-network.

Either way, I'm growing plants in old mangas, so that's artsy-fartsy. But other than that, I will not participate in making dA a social network, so I'll leave untill I actually contribute some sort of art to dA, and just stick to the art. Think about it, are you really here for the art?
